magot1936 Posted February 28, 2006 Report Posted February 28, 2006 I have just bought a 2001 (Y) Galaxy 1.9 TDi. I am having trouble with the central locking on the drivers door, both with the key and remote. The passenger door and tailgate locking both work normally but the drivers door only locks and unlocks occasionally. If you use the key in the drivers door it just unlocks that door and nothing else. Any ideas ????? Quote

Guest jandrace Posted March 1, 2006 Report Posted March 1, 2006 Mine was a broken wire in the cable that goes from door to the plug near the hinges. Sometimes the break touches and it all works OK other times it doesn't. Quote
